WWE’s WrestleMania 41 is on the horizon and set to
take place this weekend, with mega-nights planned for
Saturday and Sunday in Las Vegas.
Almost every title in the promotion will be defended, with
Cody Rhodes and John Cena to main event the second night in a match for the WWE title.
Elsewhere, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk will
main event night one, while the likes of Jey Uso, Charlotte
Flair, Bianca Belair and Logan Paul also to be present.
Usually, at WrestleMania, the tide turns in WWE, with a number of storylines concluding, some starting, and titles changing hands.
This year promises to be no different, though it remains hard to
call some of the matches on the cards – and
some results still may not yet be decided.
Here, Mail Sport details five wrestlers who could disappear from WWE
– at least temporarily – on the back of the biggest show of the year.

John Cena (left) and Cody Rhodes (right) will face off in the
main event of night two for the WWE championship
CM Punk, meanwhile, will take on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple
threat match in the main event of night one
Roman Reigns
Reigns is in the main event of night one, where he will take on Rollins and Punk in a triple threat
match that has been brewing since the Royal Rumble.
There’s an added element of Paul Heyman being around, with
Reigns’ ‘wise man’ set to be in the corner of Punk – his best friend.
Reigns has established himself as one of the greatest WWE
stars of all time, and is a sure-fire future three-time Hall
of Famer. As a result, he’s on a reduced contract that sees him not present
every week.
Though it’s unclear if he loses at ‘Mania, he will almost certainly be taking some
time off after – especially if Heyman turns on him, as expected.
The same happened last year when he lost his title to Rhodes, but his absence is always noticed, and comeback anticipated.

time off after WrestleMania
Paul Heyman (right) plays a key part in the storyline between Reigns, CM Punk and Rollins
Logan Paul
Another wrestler who is on a part-time contract, Paul has his fingers dipped in many pies, from boxing,
to podcasting, to wrestling.
He’s far from a regular at WWE programming, but always pops up when the big shows, including WrestleMania, come around.
When ‘Mania is in the rear mirror, Paul will undoubtedly sail off into the sunset again. Whether that’s with or without a win over AJ
Styles, this weekend will reveal.
He’ll be back for SummerSlam at the latest – but he’s far from a fan favourite,
and wouldn’t be missed anywhere near as much as Reigns.
Logan Paul usually turns up for major events in the company, also on a reduced schedule
He will face AJ Styles at the event before likely disappearing for a
number of weeks again
Gunther
What started off as a match not many – including Gunther – wanted to see has turned into one of the more intriguing stories going into WrestleMania.
Jey Uso was one of the most surprising Royal Rumble winners of all time at
the start of the year, but he is also one of the most-loved stars, and it would seem almost certain that he’ll win his first world championship
against Gunther this weekend.
It does though seem likely that that will be the end of their feud.
Jey catapults to stardom, Gunther disappears for a bit to recuperate from just his
second pinfall loss since joining the main roster
permanently three years ago.
He would then come back without a title without having to directly recover from the loss
to Jey. If it happens. It feels the smart way to do it.
Gunther (right) will likely take some time off if he, as expected,
loses to Jey Uso (right)
Cody Rhodes
Rhodes has been the so-called quarter-back – or lynchpin – of WWE over the last year since he beat Reigns to win his first world title and
finish his story.
He’s been the face of the company, but fans are now genuinely
curious over whether he will keep hold of his title this weekend when he
takes on a villainous Cena who is looking for a record-breaking 17th title.
Most bookies currently have Cena as favourite, which means
Rhodes would be without a title again. That could lead to some well-deserved time off.
The American Nightmare hasn’t had an extended spell off since he tore his pectoral
muscle in June 2022, and he’s been on almost every show – including non-televised live
events – all around the world.
A loss here could lead to a break – or he could get straight back on the horse in a bid to win the Championship back from Cena/
Rhodes has been the lynchpin of WWE over the last year but may lose his title
this weekend
Rhea Ripley has also been an ever-present of late and has her own title match this weekend
Rhea Ripley
Probably the most controversial name on this list, Rhea Ripley has also been an ever-present for
a long time now and could do with some time off.
Since leaving The Judgement Day, she has been consistently in the title
picture, whether that’s feuding with Liv Morgan or, currently, Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky.
For much of that time she carried the title, so it’s unclear if she will win it again this weekend as WWE settle on of the faces
of their women’s division.
If she loses, then she will be out of the title
picture for the first time in a while, and that may result in some time off.
Alternatively, she could win the belt this weekend and be an ever-present for the foreseeable.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the

it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!

What a stuff of un-ambiguity and preserveness of valuable familiarity regarding unpredicted emotions.
